Complaint about rejected youth care
The municipal authorities may reject your application for youth care. If you disagree with this decision, you can lodge an objection with the municipal authorities.
Complaint about a youth care institution
If you have a complaint about a youth care institution, you should send your complaint to the complaints committee of the youth care institution. Every youth care institution has a complaints committee. They assess complaints and can issue a ruling on them. The complaints committee has at least 3 members, including an independent chair.
Complaint about a youth care professional
If you have a complaint about a youth care professional, you should first send your complaint to the complaints committee of the youth care institution. After that, you can file a disciplinary complaint with the Stichting Kwaliteitsregister Jeugd, SKJ (Youth Quality Register Foundation). You can do this if the professional has an SKJ registration.
